As a textile and embroidery artist, my practice explores texture, delicate layers, and intricate surfaces through contemporary hand embroidery and surface techniques. Inspired by the beauty of natural surfaces—such as flaky walls, wild overgrown flower meadows, and whimsical botanicals—I am drawn to ethereal hues and soft colours. The use of heavily embellished layers allows me to create tactile, detailed pieces that evoke the essence of spring and the countryside. With a background in fine art, ceramics, and textiles, my work merges heavy textures, fine stitching, and subtle painted layers, blending multiple mediums to create depth and detail.

I studied Fine Art at Leeds College of Art and Design and Contemporary Applied Arts at The University of Cumbria, graduating with a First Class BA Honours Degree specialising in embroidery, printed textiles, and ceramics. Since then, I have had the privilege of exhibiting and creating bespoke, commissioned pieces for clients around the world, with my work featured in books and global publications. I run day workshops and talks across the UK and offer worldwide online sessions, sharing my passion for textiles, mixed media, and hand embroidery.
